The UP3D UP600 is a slim, wired INTRAORAL scanner engineered for chairside digital impression work and fully integrated CAD/CAM restorative workflows. A smart anti-fog system keeps the optical window clear through every breath, motion-sensing reduces patient-contact time, and intelligent data processing trims lip, cheek, tongue, and glove noise from the live scan stream. Output is open — STL, PLY, and OBJ files load directly into any major CAD design suite, chairside mill, or laboratory pipeline.
The UP600’s sleek design and intelligent imaging technology enable high-speed, lifelike color capture — replacing traditional impression trays with efficient, accurate digital data. The scanner empowers dentists to deliver enhanced digital diagnostics and treatment, supporting seamless collaboration between operatory and laboratory for a more comfortable, precise, and realistic patient experience.
Ensures data integrity by preventing fogging of the lens from the patient’s breath during scanning. Scan continuity is preserved through long full-arch sessions, and rescans driven by foggy data drop out of the workflow.
The operator performs INTRAORAL scans with minimal hand-to-patient contact. The handpiece wakes when in scanning position and pauses when set aside, conserving battery on portable setups and protecting the optical head between captures.
Redundant data from the lips, buccal tissues, and gloves is removed automatically while the scan is in progress. The operator sees a clean arch develop in real time and focuses on patient care rather than post-scan cleanup.
The UP600 hardware integrates with the Updental App for chairside immediate-restoration workflows: Auto Design generates restoration proposals, Model Editor handles digital model refinement, and OrthoSimulator delivers orthodontic outcome previews — all from within a single application.
The Updental App’s Auto Design module proposes restoration designs from the captured scan, accelerating chairside crown-and-bridge and inlay workflows.
Refine, trim, and prepare digital models for milling, printing, or laboratory transfer without leaving the scan application.
Preview orthodontic outcomes from the same captured scan — a powerful patient-communication tool for case acceptance on clear-aligner and orthodontic treatments.
Built-in digital colorimetric system: the local color number of any tooth is displayed by a mouse click — shade information lives inside the same scan as the prep.
Intelligent tooth-preparation detection: prep status (margin clarity, depth, taper) is visualized in real time, improving the final restoration outcome and supporting clinical teaching.
INTRAORAL software includes undercut analysis, bite-distance detection, frontal measurement, and margin-line measurement.
Design docking: the UP600 docks with chairside CAD and CAM systems for downstream re-design and milling.
