SUPER-SNAP is SHOFU's snap-on disk system for composite contouring, finishing, and polishing. The original four-color sequence — Black (coarse), Violet (medium), Green (fine), and Red (superfine) — takes a directly placed composite restoration from finished contour to high-gloss surface luster without polishing paste. The family also includes Buff Disks, Polystrips, snap-on Mandrels, factory kits (Rainbow Tech, Mini Kit, Singles), and the higher-aggression SUPER-SNAP X-Treme line.

FOUR-STEP DISK SEQUENCE
Black for contour reduction, Violet for finishing, Green for polishing, and Red for the final high-gloss step. Each disk uses a snap-on mandrel without a center post that could mark the working surface. The color-coded sequence is easy to teach to assistants, easy to verify at the chair, and produces a repeatable result across operators.
STEP-BY-STEP TECHNIQUE
Start with Black to reduce excess composite and shape the final contour. Move to Violet to smooth the surface and remove finishing marks. Use Green to polish to a satin finish. Finish with Red to achieve high-gloss natural-looking surface luster. For glaze-like final luster, add a single pass with a SUPER-SNAP Buff Disk.
SUPER-SNAP BUFF DISKS
The Buff Disks are the dedicated final-luster step. Available in standard and Mini diameters for embrasure and proximal access. Used after the four-color sequence to deliver a glaze-like polish without polishing paste.
SUPER-SNAP POLYSTRIPS
Interproximal finishing strips that complement the disk family. Available in Green (fine) and Red (superfine) for contact-area refinement and polish on Class II, III, and IV composite restorations.
SUPER-SNAP X-TREME
Higher-aggression disk variant. The X-Treme diamond-impregnated abrasive cuts harder composites, ceramic-modified hybrids, and zirconia-reinforced materials faster than the conventional Black disk while preserving the snap-on, no-center-post mandrel design.
