The Cap Scanbody enhances immediate loading procedures by addressing the critical tissue-implant alignment challenge in blood- and saliva-rich environments.

As a precision-engineered intermediary, it facilitates the alignment of the coded scanbody and soft tissue. Both the coded scanbody and Cap Scanbody data are digitally transformed into CAD data, ensuring greater alignment accuracy and success rate.

If a certain implant system is unavailable in the SHINING 3D software list, can it be added?

• If the physical connecting interface matches, SHINING 3D can add a certain implant scanbody into the software. Possibly many existing implant brands are compatible with existing scanbody kits.

• If you find some local implant system compatible with the existing SHINING 3D scanbody kit, please inform SHINING 3D to add it to the software.

Are these encoded scanbodies compatible with other SHINING 3D intraoral SCANNERS ?

• Scanbodies are only compatible with Aoralscan Elite system.

Is this a closed system?

• This is an open system, you can export files in a universal format.

Does Aoralscan Elite perform better for edentulous scanning?

• Aoralscan Elite can scan edentulous cases with a smoother experience thanks to the IPG (big) scan tip.

Can the long, medium, and short scanbodies be mixed to use? The software will be able to differentiate?

• Long, medium, and short scanbodies in one kit can be mixed during usage, but the coded scanbody from different kits cannot be mixed.

Can this scanner be used in scanning restoration and orthodontic or regular implant patients?

• It can be applied to scan normal restorations and orthodontic and regular implant patients.

Do Aoralscan Elite scanbodies work on MUA only?

• Yes, Aoralscan Elite scanbodies are connected with MUA only.

Is the software the same as other SHINING 3D intraoral SCANNERS?

• Yes, it is the same software.
