Installation & Use

Drop-in tank swap. Disconnect the existing tank lid, lift the worn tank out, seat the new tank in the cabinet floor recess, and reconnect the hose fittings (already pre-installed at the factory). Verify the lid seal before pressurizing.

Compatibility

Cabinet sandblasters with metal-lid tank systems — SandStorm XL (VMC-X11L), Prestige, and the larger VANIMAN cabinets. Not compatible with the Sandstorm Professional or Sandstorm 2 (those use plastic-lid Tanks of a different geometry).

Care & Storage

Empty and inspect the tank monthly. Replace the lid O-ring (Mfg #98205, current red spec) any time the lid is removed and reseated — O-rings take a permanent compression set and lose seal quickly once disturbed.
