KEYSTONE Prehma RA-Shank tungsten Carbide Burs are intra-oral cutting tools used by dentists at the chair in slow-speed handpieces (right-angle / latch attachment) for caries excavation, gentle occlusal access, and refinement work where a high-speed handpiece would be overkill. The RA latch Shank locks into the right-angle slow-speed handpiece — distinct from FG (friction-grip, high-speed) and from HP (3/32" lab bench).

How to use
Mounting. Open the latch on the right-angle slow-speed handpiece head; seat the RA bur fully; close the latch to lock. Verify the bur is locked before bringing to working RPM.
Operating. Use water-coolant spray at all times during intra-oral cutting. Slow-speed RA carbides excel at caries excavation where the operator wants tactile feedback — apply light pressure and let the Carbide cut.
