Ransom & Randolph Plasticast BANDUST was developed and ideally suited for the investing and burnout of commonly used CAD/CAM Resins or wax pattern materials that are notorious for their high-expansion properties.
Plasticast Investment provides jewelry casters with an equally high-expanding, extra high-strength mold material that meets those demands while maintaining mold surface and dimensional integrity, providing a smoother, cleaner casting surface not obtainable with standard brands of Investment.
Up to 99% less respirable dust exposure during the investing process, depending on which standard Investment you use
No measurable respirable dust during quench
Less total dust overall during the investing process
Excellent final casting results and no process changes required during the investing stage
Maximum oven temperature is 1400°F (760°C)
