Overview

KEYSTONE Pumice Polishing Powder is the traditional pre-polish stage for the dental lab bench — natural volcanic Pumice ground to graduated grit grades, mixed with water on the bench-lathe to form a polishing slurry that's applied via brush wheel or muslin buff. The slurry abrades the workpiece at a controlled rate that's significantly more aggressive than rouge or compound but less aggressive than a stone, making it the standard pre-polish step before the final high-shine compound.

Available in Coarse (rough pre-polish), Medium (intermediate), and Fine (pre-final-polish) grades. Sold in 1 lb, 2.5 lb, and 5 lb bulk packages for high-volume lab use.
