KEYSTONE Pro-Form Base Plate material is a pink Thermoplastic sheet for denture bases and wax bite plates. It is made from pure high-impact styrene, which melts at a low temperature and is easy to adapt at the bench.

Low melt temperature is the working advantage: the sheet adapts readily over the cast without the fight you get from stiffer materials, and high-impact styrene resists the cracking that ruins a Base Plate during try-in handling.

A Base Plate only has one job — hold its shape accurately from the model to the patient’s mouth and back. Material that distorts on the way costs you the appointment.
