The Saliva-Check BUFFER kit checks hydration, consistency, resting saliva pH, stimulated saliva flow, stimulated saliva pH and buffering capacity. These six tests take less than 10 minutes total per patient.
Saliva-Check Buffer is very useful in identifying contributing factors, such as stress, smoking, illness, salivary gland disease, chronic kidney failure, drug or drug abuse, hormonal imbalance due to to menopause and medication side effects. The results can be explained to the patient during the discussion about prevention and treatment.
