Overview

KEYSTONE cutting and separating Discs are flat thin abrasive wheels for lab bench sectioning and cutting — Joe Dandy-style flat Discs (single-side and double-side abrasive), DC ULTRA flexible separating Discs, Veri-Thin precision finishing Discs, and Dura Thin Discs for aluminum-oxide cutting of cast metal, denture acrylic, plaster, and model material. The thin disc profile delivers a precise, narrow kerf — useful for sectioning where wider arbor bands or heatless wheels would remove too much stock.

Mount on a 3/32" HP-shank mandrel; rotate at the manufacturer's recommended RPM (typically 10,000–25,000 RPM); apply with the disc edge to the workpiece. Discs are consumables — replace when worn or if radial cracking appears.
