A (VFD) Variable Frequency Drive is used to control the Vacuum levels. The VPF is Power conversion system consisting of three distinct sub-Systems, A rectifier bridge converter, a direct current (DC) link, and an inverter.

With NO SUCTION being used, the motor is running one third the speed and using very little power. Every time a suction hose is being used the motor automatically speeds up to maintain constant suction.
