Ceramisté
Three-Step Porcelain Polishing System
DESCRIPTION
Ceramisté is SHOFU's three-step silicone-bonded polishing system for dental porcelain, including monolithic zirconia and lithium disilicate. The Standard, Ultra, and Ultra II grits progress from adjustment to glaze-like high gloss without polishing paste. Used for both laboratory porcelain finishing and chairside porcelain adjustments at delivery.
• Three coordinated polishing steps — Standard / Ultra / Ultra II
• Optimal ratio of speed and contact pressure for porcelain substrates
• Long-lasting service with low vibration
• No polishing paste required
• Compatible with feldspathic porcelain, monolithic zirconia, and lithium disilicate
• Available in HP and CA shanks
Why You'll Love It
Walk into chairside porcelain adjustments without a paste tray — three Ceramisté steps take you from rough adjustment to glaze-like Polish.
Cut chair time on monolithic zirconia and lithium disilicate adjustments — the system is engineered for those substrates.
Use one polishing family for both lab and chairside porcelain finishing.
Avoid sending the restoration back to the lab for re-glaze — Ceramisté reaches glaze-like luster directly.
If You Are Looking For...
If you are looking for a porcelain polishing system that handles monolithic zirconia adjustments without re-glazing — Ceramisté is engineered for that workflow.
If you adjust occlusion on PFM and lithium disilicate restorations at delivery — Ceramisté gives you glaze-like Polish without sending the restoration back to the lab.
If your lab wants one porcelain polishing system that covers both feldspathic and high-strength substrates — Ceramisté covers both.
THREE-STEP POLISHING SEQUENCE
Ceramisté Standard takes the rough adjustment surface smooth. Ceramisté Ultra refines and pre-polishes. Ceramisté Ultra II delivers the final glaze-like high-gloss luster. Running the full three-step protocol is what makes the chairside adjustment indistinguishable from a re-glazed restoration.
PORCELAIN SUBSTRATE COMPATIBILITY
Engineered for feldspathic porcelain (PFM crowns and bridges), monolithic zirconia, and lithium disilicate (IPS e.max and equivalents). The silicone-bonded matrix handles the high-strength Ceramic substrates that conventional rubber Polishers cannot touch.
CHAIRSIDE WORKFLOW
Adjust occlusion at delivery, run the Standard → Ultra → Ultra II sequence, deliver. The restoration reads as glaze-finished without round-tripping to the lab for re-firing.
