Overview

PRO-FORM RESIN MOUTHGUARD SHEETS are the single-layer EVA workhorse for vacuum-formed athletic MOUTHGUARDS, bleaching trays, and custom oral appliances. Where the dual-laminate SHEETS layer a soft inner over a firm outer, the RESIN SHEETS are a uniform EVA throughout the cross-section — softer overall, more forgiving for patient comfort, and easier to trim by hand. The .160" / 4 mm thickness is the standard formulation for adult athletic MOUTHGUARDS and bruxism trays.

Available in a wide palette of solid colors — clear, white, orange, red, blue, yellow, green, pink, black and more — for team color matching or patient preference. Sold in 25-pack 5×5 inch square SHEETS and 120 mm round formats compatible with all mainstream vacuum-forming machines.

Material & regulatory

PRO-FORM RESIN MOUTHGUARD SHEETS are intra-oral medical-grade EVA thermoplastic manufactured by Keystone Industries. Materials are biocompatible and FDA-registered for use in custom dental appliances. Supplied non-sterile; appliances must be cleaned and disinfected prior to patient delivery.

How to use

Heating & forming. Center the 5×5 inch sheet (or 120 mm round) in the vacuum-former chuck. Bring the heater to working temperature; for 4 mm EVA, typical heat-soak is 4–6 minutes on a standard lab vacuum-former. Drape down when the sheet bows 3–5 mm in the middle. Activate vacuum immediately — RESIN SHEETS are softer and will overheat faster than dual-laminate SHEETS, so move quickly.

Trimming & finishing. Curved trimming scissors cut cleanly through the cooled sheet. Smooth the gingival border with a light flame pass or fine pumice slurry to remove any sharp edges.
