Overview
KEYSTONE Arbor Bands are sand-cloth abrasive Bands designed to wrap onto a rotating Arbor band mandrel for fast bulk reduction on the lab bench. The flexible cloth-backed abrasive conforms to the contours of the workpiece — denture acrylic surfaces, partial-denture framework outlines, and large-area reduction tasks where a rigid stone would skate. Sold by Grit grade — Coarse for rough reduction, Medium for shaping, with finer grades for pre-polish work.
Designed for mounting on a standard Arbor band mandrel (3/32" HP shank, sold separately or as a kit). The Bands are consumables; the mandrel is reusable. This makes the system economical for high-volume labs — replace the abrasive without replacing the mandrel.
- Sand-cloth abrasive on flexible cloth backing. Conforms to contoured workpiece surfaces without skating.
- Graduated Grit grades. Coarse for bulk reduction, Medium for shaping, finer grades for pre-polish.
- Mounts on standard Arbor band mandrel. 3/32" HP shank, reusable mandrel — economical consumable system.
- Standard 1/4" or larger diameter sizes. Fits typical lab Arbor band mandrels.
