Overview

KEYSTONE Sintered Diamond Burs are HP-shank lab bench Burs with REAL Diamond grit bonded into a Sintered metal matrix — designed for cutting and shaping hard ceramic materials that carbide cannot touch: zirconia, lithium disilicate, feldspathic porcelain, and glass-ceramic restorations. The Diamond grit is the active cutting media; the Sintered matrix holds the grit firmly through the bur's life.

(Sintered Diamond is distinct from "Diamond-Cut" carbide, which is a flute pattern on a tungsten-carbide bur — that designation is about flute geometry, not Diamond material. Sintered Diamond = actual Diamond grit. Use these on ceramics; use carbide on acrylic, gold and base metals.)
